Our Story

Marble Fox Brewing Company is a family-owned brewery rooted in both history and community, located in the heart of Nashville, Tennessee.

Our rich history begins in the late 1800s, when Johann Baptist “John” Eibl immigrated from Germany and founded Fox Head Brewing Company in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Known for its German-style lagers and iconic fox head logo, the brewery became a massive success, and a symbol of quality and craftsmanship throughout the Midwest.
 
Though Fox Head Brewing Company closed its doors in 1961, its legacy lives on. Today, we carry that same passion for brewing forward by honoring tradition while embracing what’s next.

Our ROOTS

Our foundation is built on generations of brewing knowledge and a deep respect for the craft. Inspired by our family’s history, we focus on precision, balance, and letting quality ingredients speak for themselves.  From classic, easy-drinking styles to small-batch and seasonal releases, every beer we brew is guided by a simple philosophy: do it right, and make it worth sharing.
 
The name “Marble Fox” reflects that connection to our past while representing the unique character of our beers—distinctive, refined, elegant and thoughtfully made.

Nashville isn’t just where we brew—it’s home. The creativity, energy, and sense of community found here shape everything we do. 
We’re proud to be a place where neighbors, friends, and those visiting Nashville can come together over the love of great beer.
 
Whether you’re stopping in for a quick pint or settling in for the afternoon/evening, our goal is to create a space that feels welcoming, relaxed, and genuinely local.

Behind every great pour is an even greater brewery team that cares deeply about the process. Our brewers bring experience, curiosity, and attention to detail to every batch, constantly refining their craft. They respect tradition but aren’t afraid to experiment and are always working to create beers that are balanced, approachable, and full of character.
 
At the end of the day, it’s not just about brewing high-quality craft beer—it’s about sharing with those who share our passion. 

Our TAPROOM

Great beer is just the beginning.  At Marble Fox Brewing Company, we offer a full-service taproom featuring 16 rotating draft beers, outdoor seating, and a menu of flatbreads and shareables by Nashville’s own Secret Bodega—crafted to pair perfectly with every pour.  Our taproom is powered by a knowledgeable team that’s passionate about craft beer and always ready to help you discover your next favorite.

Beyond the beer, our space comes to life with a growing lineup of events—from trivia and bingo nights to major sporting events, interactive classes, exclusive member nights, and our annual brewery celebrations.

We’re proudly family-friendly—and that includes your furry family members, too. 🐾
